Not every booking is a birthday party, and the variety keeps things interesting. James regularly performs for care & residential homes, schools, corporate events, and family fun days. Each show is tailored to its audience. A care home crowd gets a different pace from a school hall full of six-year-olds.

James's fascination with magic goes back to boyhood, long before he ever picked up a Punch puppet, and it remains very much part of what he does. He offers a standalone magic show packed with tricks and illusions, or can weave magic into a Punch & Judy booking for a longer set.

We perform at children’s parties, village fetes, seaside events, holiday parks, steam rallies, family fun days, residential and care homes, Women’s Institute meetings, school events and more. If you’re planning a family-friendly occasion, we can usually tailor a show for it.
A standard Punch & Judy performance usually lasts around 30-40 minutes, but we can adapt the running time to suit your schedule, age group and event format.
Yes. Professor James Gordon is a full member of the Punch & Judy Fellowship and holds public liability insurance, along with all the necessary safety measures and risk assessments for performing at public and private events.
We are based in Somerset and regularly perform across Somerset, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall, as well as at seaside resorts, holiday parks and village events throughout the region.
